Excellent location - bang on Lake Pichola with 1st floor rooms with small sit outs overlooking the lake. Gangaur ghat is just opposite the balcony on the other side with the City palace bit further down! In the evenings one can just sit on the balcony and soak in the atmosphere- the landmarks also get illuminated in the evenings! Most of the city centre accommodations are walking distance. The rooftop restaurant offers panoramic views over the lake, service is friendly and the price not exorbitant- if staying here one must have dinner at their rooftop restaurant 'Upre'. Rooms are comfortable but not very big or luxurious - but the location makes up for everything- their lounge downstairs has an aesthetic heritage decor! The balcony could do with a fan, and the washrooms could do with a railing for hanging clothes! But overall highly recommended place to stay in Udaipur

The hotel is one of a kind. Very aesthetically planned with bright colours and stunning decor. The rooms are comfortable, the view from the room and the hotel itself is breathtaking. Traditionally a haveli, it gives you a real palatial experience. The flute player, Mr. Vardan Pandya, will make your mornings unforgettable! He's a master artist. Mr. Madan at the gate too is very warm and helpful while being professional. The food was delicious and the breakfast spread was good. We had a truly memorable stay and strongly recommend the hotel to everyone who plans to visit Udaipur!

Hotel Lake Pichola is a great experience overall. Full marks on location, food, staff behaviour, spacious room and bathroom, great rooftop arrangements in the evening.. Stayed 3 days and found it a very pleasant experience. Would highly recommend to all. A special mention to the flute artist who plays during morning hours, soul stirring 👍

Absolutely loved this place. The location was just perfect and wonderful view from balcony across lake especially at sunrise. Loved waking up looking out the gorgeous windows. Breakfast and dinner were great with enough choices. Staff were super friendly and helpful. we were there for Holi so in the most amazing location that you could walk to Jagdish Temple and the ghats to enjoy the festivities.

Good choice of breakfast food. self service buffet but staff helpful as I walk with sticks and served me at the table. Wonderful view from balcony across lake especially at sunrise.

The breakfast menu was a bit limited but the food was good. The location is unbeatable, being right on Lake Picchola. The decor was beautiful and replete with Pichwai paintings and a small fountain. The staff were very friendly, prompt and courteous.

Has a charming decor to match the location. The location and neighbourhood were convenient. Friendliness of staff was excellent. Helpfulness when we asked for support eg drivers, information. Bed was very comfortable. Extra blanket was helpful. Heater was appreciated and never felt cold

The hotel has had better, splendid, times. Even so it retains much of the old luxurious atmosphere in a somehow decadent way. Super servicial and efficient staff. The enchant of sitting just on the lake is a great bonus. Fantastic breakfast in a beautiful dining room overviewing the lake. Very romantic place to stay.
